Hi everyone!

This is my latest build, the Mid Bumper.

It started with a relay bypass module but it made a small «pop» noise when activated. I changed the bypass module, it did it again, I changed for a GORVA 3PDT and still does it but, a lot less. I'm pretty bummed out to be honest. But hey it looks nice and I may be a bit too critical about my pedals. The «pop» is linked with the volume level. at unity gain it does a little pop and if a max out the volume, a big pop.





I really like the design though. I may try to build another one to see if it does the same POP noise or if there is a problem with that specific pedal.

The popping may be due to electric potential where it shouldn’t be. Try replacing C6 (maybe with a 1uF film cap). The 4u7 electro at the output may be leaky.

Thanks! It helped. It still makes a small pop sounds when I crank the mid but, I think I am too picky!

Try removing the indicator LED from the circuit and see if that makes a difference.

It still does it when I crank up the mids. Maybe it is the way the circuit works? When I'm cutting the mids, it doesn't pop.
