Mesmeriser followed by Deep Blue

If I run both my Mesmeriser and Deep blue, I get a strong low freq. roll off. If I have a buffered pedal between them, it’s not an issue. I’m thinking this is impedance related. But it’s odd, as I don’t get this type of interaction with any other pedals in front of the Deep Blue, and with nothing else following the Mesmeriser. They are on different outlets from my Cioks supply, 9v to the Mesmeriser and 15 to the delay. Both are favorite pedals. Any ideas? Both were built to spec.

probably the 500k pot on the output of the mesmerizer working with the pretty awful 180k input impedance of the deep blue

Yup, maybe try a buffer between the 2 to check whether it's purely impedance issue.
