Muzzle (Classic) distorting

Please help! I wired up my Muzzle with the THAT4301 retrofit module today, and rather than reducing volume, it sounds like a crazy fuzz. The LED stays green. Turning the pot doesn't affect the sound. I used the switching jacks linked in the build doc, and confirmed with a multimeter that the switching contacts are working. After reading the other posts, I tried the alcohol wash and reflowed a bunch of joints--no change in function.

Is the input sleeve not connected with a wire?
Are you sure that is in contact with the ground? Maybe I wrong, but I'm afraid the paint could isolates it from the ground.

Good idea, but the jacks have a good connection through the case. I should have mentioned that bypass works fine. The problem comes when I engage the circuit.

update: just for fun I reflowed even more solder joints, and then put everything back in the enclosure...at which point I noticed one of the unused lugs on the key input jack was touching the THAT board. So I bent that out of the way and stuck in a layer of electrical tape for the just in case.
Works now!

Well that will do it but the voltages you were getting on theTL072 were way off!
1,2.3,5,6 & 7 should have been around 4 to 4.5v!, 4 should be 0v, thats' Ground.
