This is less of a troubleshooting question than one I'm asking to prevent needing to troubleshoot later - for the key input on the Muzzle (not the pass through setup, just the single input that you would run from a splitter/tuner etc), the "switched tip" is the contact that gets broken when a jack is plugged in and the "tip" is the actual tip contact, correct? So when nothing is plugged in, they're shorted together, but with an input, the switched tip contacts nothing and the tip contact receives input and goes to the far left "T" pad on the board?
