Need a scope anyone have experiencewith kne of these?

Need a scope, im guessing ill probably use it a couple times a year max. So i really dont want anything big or expensive. I bought one of those super cheap small ones from aliexpress and thats probably a little too cheap.

Anyone use this fnirsi 1014d on amazon?

Any other recommendations?

Never heard of the Fnirsi brand before, but it seems to have okay reviews

Only scopes I’ve used before (in a pretty limited, un-expert capacity) were an old CRT Tektronix that I got used to off of EBay. It worked fine, then I had it in storage for a while, and it smoked and died the first time I tried to power it up after that.

So now I’ve got a Hantek2D72: https://a.co/d/cWHTTaa that I picked up new off of eBay a few years ago for $160-something.
Pretty happy with it for the very occasional, not-super-complex stuff I use it for.

Never used that brand but the hanteks are good for the price. They have a decent handheld. 2sd72 maybe(sounds like a Japanese germanium too me). If it's just for limited use, a handheld has the benefit of being able to fit in a drawer...
