This one came out a few months ago, I picked one up because I'm a Muse fanboi. I was whelmed. It does the Supermassive Black Hole sound pretty well and very little else. I ended up flipping it.

Well, yes I am. But we put our lights on the ceiling, not the floor, so it all makes senseUm, in Australia up is off and down is on with most switches. I believe the UK is the same. Probably in NZ it's like this. Possibly a lot more countries too. Lemme guess - You're in the US?
Wait, what? Are there rules for switch direction? I know of nothing but lawlessness when it comes to this...Um, in Australia up is off and down is on with most switches. I believe the UK is the same. Probably in NZ it's like this. Possibly a lot more countries too. Lemme guess - You're in the US?
Yeah, but in what world does ‘up = off, down = on’ make sense?
...
This will possibly overload you, but many places also put the lightswitch for the light inside a room OUTSIDE THE ROOM!
Now THAT is clearly insane.
I've had them both ways in Finland, inside and outside. Frankly I think inside makes a lot more sense, but outside is great for pranking your significant other.Ha, patting the wall of an unknown bathroom in the dark like an idiot, only to learn that the switch is outside. Happens!
Turns the music off
When I lived in Scotland it was a 'carry oot'@HamishR — Don't forget "Take-away" and "To go" at restaurants ... if you use the wrong term in the wrong country you'll just get a blank stare from the clerk/cashier/server who doesn't bother to try to figure out what you've just said.
NEWS FLASH FOR THE F&B INDUSTRY:
TAKE-AWAY = TO GO
"OMFG, they mean the same thing?! But but bu... they're different!"
When I used to build Devi Evers we made a similar thing. The circuit was a proto mountainking megalith. This one came out a few months ago, I picked one up because I'm a Muse fanboi. I was whelmed. It does the Supermassive Black Hole sound pretty well and very little else. I ended up flipping it.
At least in a bathroom it makes some kinda sense. I remember visiting the US and being shocked (not literally) that there were power sockets and switches in the bathroom?!Ha, patting the wall of an unknown bathroom in the dark like an idiot, only to learn that the switch is outside. Happens!
So you manscape in the kitchen? At least in a bathroom it makes some kinda sense. I remember visiting the US and being shocked (not literally) that there were power sockets and switches in the bathroom?!
In the UK we keep mains voltage and water separate.
