Now this is the kind of deal I like to make

About 10 years ago a guy traded me $350 for a F/SH I made. Unimaginative trade for sure, but easily my most profitable build. I've given away builds to friends and been bought a couple shots, but never a bottle of good stuff.

I wanted him to have it for free since I have known and worked with his wife for so long, but he was insistent on giving me something. I asked for a bottle of whiskey expecting Jameson or something like that and he comes back with this!

I traded a KOT for an older (like Squier in a small circle on the headstock) Mexican strat. I traded it away a few years ago, I regret it now.

I've been paid burgers and beer for guitar repairs I've done for friends. No McDonald's either. Good Canadian burgers with poutine. Amazing deal for 2 minutes of soldering.
I've sold a Bluelay at cost to a friend I play with. It's better off with him.
I've also gotten requests from other players to build stuff for them but I'm not confident enough to say yes...

Man, now there's something I miss.

Stupid sobriety. Why can't people just hurry up and make a good non-alcoholic whiskey that isn't just watered down tea.
I had never heard of non-alcoholic whiskey before so I had to look it up and sure enough. However, in the quick Google search they were all $30-$40! That's kinda nuts, especially if they don't taste all that great.

See Stickman393's post above yourn. That pretty much covers it.
