Octarock additional switches

I love my Octarock and the only thing that could make it better would be separate switches to control octave up and octave down. There is no schematic so I'm not sure how to proceed. Anyone have ideas?

I just thought about switching only the high octave on and off. I would use a DPDT Footswitch to get the wiper (2 on the high octave pot) to signal or vref.
