This one was a request from a client (admittedly my only one), and while I was skeptical having never played one before, it delivers on a classic light overdrive sound. it can do a clean boost and a gritty drive for your amp or other dirt boxes. I didn't have time to look into mods, but this is definitely a circuit with lots of potential.

perhaps not a must-build, but if it fits your style then it absolutely is.
