My build for the PCBGuitarMania Lamb of DOD. Supposedly based off a DOD FX86 Death Metal.
I've never actually played one but watched a couple demo videos of it. Honestly they all sound terrible. This one actually sounds really good. I was quite surprised tbh. The original did not have a gain knob where this does. And I think turning that gain down is they key to this one. It actually sounds very usable. Got them sweet chugs. Not sure what or if this is based on another circuit. Maybe a DS-1? I want to make a demo on it someday.
I really just wanted to experiment with splatter so I thought what better pedal to try a blood splatter on. Overall I'm happy with the splatter.
Really, no issues with the build except I blew the led at some point so I had to go back and replace it. So, the wires for that are less hidden than I'd like. Also, I find pcbguitarmania stuff just not the easiest to work with. A bit crammed and I'd prefer the values be on the board. 3 stars for the build, 4 stars for the sound.
