Am I a cheap ass for wanting to try this? (I already know I'm a cheap ass who needs to go ahead and make my own decent cables instead of using cheap molded amazon cables that do work fine tbh)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FPQFVJ8K/
36$ for 100ft of guitar cable
The review where someone says its 20pf per foot definitely has to be bullshit.

Notice how they don't list the awg? because it's 24awg cable. That's pretty small for an instrument cable and only an idiot would use it on a bass amp as the listing title suggests.
I swear by btpa. It's 20awg.
The 20pf claim on the Amazon special is probably bs. That's better than mogami and same as btpa. If they measured it with a cheap DMM, that would explain it.

Hell yeah appreciate the suggestion! Do you use that just for the main cables or patch cables too? I'm guessing it's too thick for some of the smaller right angle connectors.

They have a smaller version for patch cables. I have been using lava tightrope and pancakes for patches with success. Mostly because it was on sale for 30 cents/ft a while back and it fits well. The shielding on the tightrope is a bit of a bear but unbraiding it with a small pick works out pretty well.

Ah ok found it, the ca o678 says it's the patch cable version. For not much more than the lava cable too. Thanks again jwin!
I love that they have different colors. If I start gigging no one will be able to steal a cable from me and get away with it!

This is why I have orange cables now;)
