SOLVED Problem With Tone and trebble in some pedals. (like oscillations )

I did too many pedals but I have a problem with two.

My Kliche Mini start sound some oscillations like a whistle when i turn the trebble up to 80% or more.

Also my optical compressor ``delegate compressor´´ have the similar problem with Tone.


Some help ?

Also I think muy kliche mini buffer doesn't work properly, I use the pedal with another 5 (all truebypass), mogami+hicon cables and cioks DC7.

And I have tonesucking

I suggest looking at the "troubleshooting" part of the forums where people talk about similar problems with pedals they were building. You can look at some of the suggestions there for trying to fix a problem like you describe and that may be all that you need.

You will also see that getting more specific help usually requires posting in a thread like this one some detailed pictures of the board and wiring for your project.

The most common reason for this (on these two pedals) is the charge pump.

First, make sure it is a TC1044S. The S suffix is critical.

I’ve had issues with Taydas charge pumps before, I stick to DigiKey when it comes to those now.

That’s not what I’m saying. We aren’t even certain this is the issue but it sounds like the common problem with bad charge pumps.

Could I use 18volts with my CIOKS DC-7 and take out the TC1044 ??

You can try a ICL7660SCPAZ if available, that is what I use instead of TC1044SCPA.

And what about MAX1044EPA+ ?

It only has a Maximum Input voltage of 10v, 7660s & TC1044S have 12v, Room for voltage fluxuations!

Maybe is better use 18volts with my Power supply and take out the TC1044
