SOLVED Reeves ZO strip board problems

I’ve been working on this strip board version of the Reeves ZO. I’ve gotten everything in. I think I’ve followed the strip board diagram correctly, but I’m just not getting anything except for bypass. I know the wiring and stuff is a little messy, but it’d be great. If you could give me some advice and where I could be going wrong. Attached, you will find the original strip board layout.

1) what is preventing the back of the board form shorting out against the enclosure? (usually i fold a piece of card/cardboard to insulate the back of the board)

2) where's the 10nF cap? it appears to be missing.
