Save Cart function?

I had been adding boards to my cart for over a week and today it is empty, must have timed out or something. Can we get a Save Cart feature? I am disappointed in having to search for the ones I had selected.

Wishlist is probably the best way to manage this currently.
Just have to remember to remove things once purchased.
Or, pen and paper.
Tayda will do the same thing occasionally, fyi.

I get that, but what I am asking for is available at DigiKey - you can save a cart. Easy-peasy for the user. I am a computer programmer and it's not hard to add that function.

Yeah, Digikey does have that. But they also have more than one employee, which PPCB does not.

Also sure you’re not a product owner or stakeholder? Those are the people that assume something is simple to do without knowing how the current codebase is implemented.

I’m being facetious here, but I wanted to provide you with some context in case this doesn’t happen anytime soon or ever.

Yeah. That's relatively new I believe. Came with the site overhaul a yeah agoish. I don't get much there anymore. More of just a general warning that ones cart can randomly dump with a server reset

We don’t have to pretend I wasn’t a bit snarky- I was triggered. Y’all don’t need the side effects of my burnout spilling into here. Other software developers can probably relate. Off-topic, apologies.

Let me try to get us back on-topic- Being able to save multiple carts would be really handy. I’d like that as well.

The wishlist takes into consideration that USPS will probably lose your first shipment.

I agree, a Save/Export/Share cart function would be helpful.

We switched wishlist plugins a while back, the behavior might have changed with that.

Would you prefer things to be removed from the wishlist when you add them to your cart? That is an option.

I would prefer that things get removed from the wishlist when purchase but I'm not a high volume customer so don't do it just for me

When and where did you last see it?
