Huh, looks like DelykPCB did the layout, wasn’t aware they were still in the game, webstore hasn’t been restocked in like forever (maybe only doing contract work now and selling out old stock?)

Personally, I wouldn't buy or build any of these Shnobel pedals, either over engineered or bad designing!

I been playing through a friend’s Daily Driver and it sounds really, really good! I agree with you about how many op amps, etc. are in it—I typically go for simple circuits—but will build one, as it sounds so good.

I can't (won't?) speak to the design of the pedals, but I met the owner of Shnobel Tone at NAMM in 2022 and he is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

That’s actually really funny to notice. I have no beef with Tayda parts personally but I have to say that’s the first time I’ve seen a nearly-$300 boutique “production” pedal using their stuff so visibly/obviously. I’m sure there are plenty of others out there but not so immediately visible…

I bought some stuff just around two years ago from him, and at the time he said it took the back burner a bit, but he restocked the things I was hoping to get. If you’re looking to get something that’s out of stock, you may have luck shooting him an email to see if he’ll restock it.

Thanks I may shoot him a message, his JFET adapter boards were the cheapest and smallest before they sold out

(Although I guess I could probably just do one up and get JLCPCB to make me like a hundred for a few bucks…)
