Significance of 420?

When I was younger it was a living experience of being constantly stoned. Now, I have kids to look after so there’s that..

Germany is looking to legalise though, with 3 plants per person. I’m interested to see how massive plants people start growing in their backyards!

Never partaken personally, but you do you and I’ll contact high that coupon thanks. Funny enough, KY just legalized medical marijuana last week. Surprised they didn’t wait until today, but I guess they were just getting that preemptively on the books so 4/20 could be fully celebrated🤣. But my question is, WHY is it 4:20, why is that the significant time of day?

I knew, and I used the code... but I have no personal interest in smoking anything or in any way consuming THC. But if it works for you, enjoy. Like you need my blessing.
Being disabled with arthritis I've enjoyed the pain relief in the form of non-intoxicating infused oil and salve. If you rub this stuff on a burn it will not blister. Rubbed on after major impact and bruises will not appear. I'm not kidding either.

The raw form is THCA and CBDA which are acids and are non intoxicating. Plus, being an acid, they cross the cell membrane in milliseconds. THCA needs to be heated above 245f before decarboxilazation (a co2 molecule breaks off the THCA chain and forms THC, a base which IS intoxicating). I've personally also bred hemp with modern strains to tone them down to be less intoxicating and more pain relieving.

So, like, smoking is intoxicating and doesn't relieve pain like the raw form does. And did you know that strawberries and most fruits contain cannibinoids, and that you actually have a cannibinoid processing *system* as part of your biology? Cannibinoids are extremely common in nature, but very rarely do they rise above 1/100th of a percent, and certainly not even close to the 20% they can rise up to in cannabis....

And your body can make it's on cannibinoids, out of *fish oil* which is thought by researchers to be the reason why fish oil (and fruit and berries) are anti-cancerous.

Cannibinoids have always been part of the food chain, since hemp seed was used in animal feed up till 1934 when the US government eradicated it. Flash forwards to the 1950's and all the bizarre never seen before cancers and neurological diseases started appearing. Coincidence? I think not.

I have a strain I developed from a massive hemp plant and some massive weed plants. Normal after trimming yield is THREE POUNDS per plant.

Lol.

We took our first mini vacation since 2019 last week. Northern Michigan. Not only were there cannabis shops literally everywhere, I knew it was legal here now but I didn’t know how many shops there were holy cow, but when we opened one of the kitchen drawers to look for silverware there was a huge dank nug the previous guess must have “forgotten” about on a cutting board. More likely a novice who go so blasted they thought it would be a good idea to leave it alone.
My insanely naive wife said eww what is that, and I died laughing and explained that’s kind bud right there. And then proceeded to dump it in the trash as those days are far in the past for me and trying to explain all this to a seven year old isn’t my idea of a fun vacation.

Anyway thanks Robert for the 420 code, I placed my first order in months today to celebrate!
Street-level Toronto now is basically like bank, bank, weed shop, Starbucks, weed shop, fried chicken resto, bank, bank, Starbucks, weed shop 😂 Like the background in Tom & Jerry cartoons when they’d run around the house.

I took advantage of the coupon. Straight edge nowadays, though I used to be able to straight up murder liquor. I had my fun.

I was in Portland, ME a few weeks ago and it's basically all weed shops now

Maryland goes recreational on my wife's birthday this year (7/1), so we'll see how it goes. I like my gov-adjacent job so, y'all have fun, I'll be a square.

Shame I am not allowed to buy any more PCBs right now, that 20% off would be nice.

That's honestly where I am at this point in life myself.

It used to be an all day every day thing. I used to joke that if I showed up to work not stoned they'd think I was high.

These days it's just something to wind down at the end of the day and try to get some sleep. It's more of a nuisance during the daytime while I'm trying to actually focus and get things done.

Do you deliver to Orange County? 😂

About 6 years ago I discovered that weed allowed me to sleep after about 15 years of screwy sleep due to working a full-time graveyard shift job while also attending college/grad school full time for a few years ⚰️

It also had the added benefit of cutting down my alcohol intake by about 90%, which was a completely unintended consequence, but a very much welcome one.

That’s pretty awesome and I wouldn’t mind some pain relieving strains myself. Anything I can find to use in Indiana? Seems like all the states around us are legalizing it, but we’ll be last I’m sure.

So I'm at a stoplight yesterday and hear, "hey lady!" Expecting to see a Bronco admirer or something, its a 20 something dude hanging out the passenger side of his best friend's ride, and he goes, "I just quit my fucking job and I'm going to colorado for 4/20"! Devil horns and screaming. I gave him a "fuck yeah!" back and away he peeled. Living his BEST life.
Living in Colorado....yup, they're all here.
Me, I'm high as a kite all day, every day. Sure it slows me down....also keeps me from killing folks.

4/20 is pretty much meaningless in PDX. It's pretty much dispensary sales day round here but the market is so crazy flooded that it's like an escalating sale for the month leading up to it.

Calling it a holiday is for college students in prohibitive states.
