Someone should use these as knobs....

Looks like a shift-knob for a car/truck, hole looks big enough to epoxy the ball onto a Davies 1900 knob.

I'll have to get some of those knob-inserts when they're back in stock.

Check out Mooneyes hotrod shift-knobs, Norm Grabowski of "Kookie T" fame...

Of course, his gear-knobs are bigger than most pedals...

Sure would be cool to shrink some of his ideas down though.

Back in 2007 an artist friend challenged himself to create a piece of skull artwork every day for a year, which reminded me of this:

I imagine with a dremel and a steady hand, you could get black and red skull knobs out of these ball thingys.

That's a great challenge your friend set for himself.
I'd probably miss a day in the first week...

There are MANY skull shift knobs out there on the market, but nothing beats one you've made yourself!
I wonder what material the red and black orbs are made of, and whether they're conducive to carving/machining etc.

Used to be you took a billiard-ball and made the shift knob yourself, now you can just buy a prefabbed 8-ball or cue-ball or just about any other number, solids and stripes.

If he was my friend, I'd be hittin' Noah up for some pedal artwork, or permission to use his existing artwork.

I noticed Cat in the Hat right away, for some reason it pops out from the rest...

The deeper I dig into Skulladay, the more I like Mr Scalin's work.
