Source for M12.7 x 1.0 hex nuts?

I have a bag of these DC jacks that were sent with the incorrect hex nuts. Just curious if anyone happens to know of a source for the proper ones - I believe they're 12.7x1.0. They don't seem to be available at my normal spots.

Those nuts in my opinion are always quite not the perfect size, but will thighten ok... how bad are they ?

do you live in NA or the rest of the world that actually uses the metric system? if NA... just check through the 1/2in(12.7mm=.5in) nutz at a hardware store or home depot/lowes or order a bag from stompbox/amplified parts. Outside that market... then I'd pass to 1 of our german or polish members for locating 😉

They slip over the barrel completely, unfortunately. Good point though - I should make sure the barrels aren't actually M12/metric or something like that.

that size is what's usually on the stomp switch, try 1 of them... don't need the backside nut on most pedals.

I hate when that happens. I got some LED bevels with nuts that don't fit, and some switches with missing nuts. I tried to find something at the local hardware stores that would fit, and found they don't stock any sizes that are useful for pedals.

If you can figure out the thread and pitch, can get a bad of whatever color from AliExpress shipped for $3 or so. I think most m12 we use is 1.75 pitch but may be wrong. See if there's a datasheet on tayda.

These DC jacks are also available in a smaller thread & you have to drill a smaller hole as 1/2'' is to big & the jack falls through!!!
The chinese pedals use this type often.

Per the datasheet (as mentioned above) they're 12.7 x 1.0, but I need to figure out whether the barrels or the hex nuts are actually off-spec. I assumed it was the nuts, but it could just as easily be the barrels.

so has anyone figured out what size these damn hex nuts actually are?

[12.7 x 1.0] is all we have from the datasheet.
thread pitch appears unspecified.

i have the problem where i like to use x2 of these nuts on x1 jack (so it can sit flush with x1 nut inside and x1 on the outside), but of course these only come with x1 nut per jack.

i currently have a bag of about 20 nutless jacks.
at this point i'm just buying more jacks for the hex nuts lmao.

would love to grab a bat of nuts that will actually fit these threads. anyone got a clue?

I believe, there is nothing like a 12.7mm metric nut. I am quite sure its an imperial nut with a metric measurement.
The 1.0 should be the wall thickness. If it was just written off the nut, its the thickness of the nut. The thread pitch on the metric system is given by the standards and don‘t have to be stated.
