Spirit Box Build

After some struggles with a Pendulum, I needed to get back on the horse. I actually tested out of the box this time, and all worked first time.

The Spirit Box has been on the backlog since I watched the DK Pedals review.

I've needed a reverb for my board (to kick off a mediocre Engl reverb pedal) and this is a real joy to play.

Saw a nice build here with under-board wiring, so I tried it out. Like the result.

Nice clean build! I recommend soldering the pins of the transistors (actually 5V regulators in this case) to make sure they never fall out of the socket.

Yeah, good point. I was in auto-pilot when I put the sockets in. I was questioning myself as I populated them.

That's a really nice looking Spirit Box build. It has some really smooth ambient feedback with the controls down low. Also great alongside a delay or echo.

It’s working nicely with a hydra delay, and Caesar for tremolo. I need to bulk up my delay/modulation options though..

You could just solder the center pin

Nice build! Love these knobs. I saw that you are from Germany (I'm from Austria) - where did you order these knobs?

I got them from Daier via Aliexpress.

They also have some nice black metal LED bezels which I’m waiting to arrive.

I’ve gotten nice plastic knobs from the OHello store as well.
