Was looking at some stuff, and noticed that there are 2 new metallic finishes at Tayda:

• "Winked Silver"
• "Glimmer Brown Sugar"

Now we wait to see them in the wild!

that brown sugar is real spiffy. hopefully the new silver is more durable than the ball silver-- I have something I've been wanting to get done up on a silver enclosure soon. Now if only they'd add a nice pearl-gold

I hadn't seen matt violet. How cool! I love the matt olive drab they do. I might have to get some matt violet. I'll tell my wife it's matt violent. (Sounds like the name of a crime boss) It would be cool for a pink-purple fuzz.

The matte violet is arguably more like pink really, but I dig that. I have a 1590BB2 one I'm about to build up in the next week or three. And we have Violent-Green Swallows nesting in a box right outside our kitchen window at the moment.

I've used the Matte Violet, which I agree tends to look a bit more pink than purple (below). I just ordered a few enclosures, but had specific colors in mind, so I didn't take a chance on the new ones. Can't wait to see them.

I've seen an example and it looks great, pretty sure yours will be stellar.
I've ordered one of the silver for myself, but as a rare occurence, I've decided to build myself a Terrarium with it without any print.

Thanks! Yeah this new silver is quite nice for the clear vinyl sticker method. I figured the colors would end up darker. For reference, here's the book cover I snagged that from. Good ol Camus.
