Tayda packing and shipping

I'm embarrassed that this is my first post to the forum, because it seems like an absurdly civil and smart group of folks and this is a pretty lame question. But here I am.

Do Tayda orders generally take a long time to pick and ship for folks? I made a fairly sizable order (quantity-wise) on July 30 and it's still in the "packing" phase. Weird or expected? Just trying to gauge for future orders.

I’ve had powder coated enclosures take a few weeks to ship. If it’s just stock parts usually more like a couple days.

My most recent order took quite a bit longer than in the past (around 10 days). I ordered some powder coated enclosures.

Same as above. Component and bare, plain, un-touched enclosure only orders will net you a very quick turnaround.

Adding drilled enclosures will add at least a week, if not more. Add another week on top of that if those enclosures are powder coated and/or have UV printing.

What they said. It states on the website wherever a package might be held up because of powdercoating etc.

If I order stuff which is all in stock the package usually gets to me in a few days and I'm in Australia.

My orders (no enclosures) from Tayda usually ship within 24 - 48 hours.

I have had a few here and there that took several days to a week, but it's rare.

I'm also seeing delays of almost 2 weeks in my last 2 orders, which never happened before in previous years. It seems to be recent, the last ~1-2 months, i.e., once the orange guy's tariffs really kicked in. i suspect they are having to do all sorts of supply chain gymnastics to avoid charging us more because of tariffs. Hugo has been very good to us for so long, hence I am sympathetic to what he must be dealing with. Just wait until after Aug 31, when de minimus tariff exemptions end for all countries...

I've had orders of just parts ship in often the same day, even literally 3hrs later. Enclosures are typically 1-3 weeks.
If no enclosures id send a polite email

I will say enclosures are taking a solid 25 days from order to receive recently. I am not complaining because I don't want to have to drill boxes anymore but I wanted to give folks a heads up. Parts orders only I have never had take any longer than 4 days and its usually 24hrs to 48 max.

My last order was on 6/20/25 and was delivered on 7/8/25 . I had had powder coated enclosures and bunch of switches, knobs and things... Was a $235 order...

Tayda used to be pretty fast, but I've been averaging 4-5 weeks for an order of ~8 powdercoated enclosures.

The last lot were stuck on 'in progress' for 3 weeks. When I emailed to ask where they were I was told they were still being painted, but were then marked as shipped 15 minutes later (so I suspect they'd just been lost lol).
