This Week on the Breadboard: A Stereo Digital Reverb

Chuck - in the T60 there was a mode switch, which influenced the size switch, did you try this out (and have an opinion)?

I am putting this onto the backlog, with the initial idea to use a TL072 instead of the TL071 and using the spare opamp for summing the output in a switched mono mode.

I tried the MODE switch. Did not find it to be very useful. I also learned that we don't need a dual pot for SIZE. A single pot can vary the VCO freq for both delay chips with no noticeable interaction.

If you only want a mono output, then you can use one opamp to mix the two REV outputs and the dry signal. One TL072 will take care of everything.

It's been a minute... or two.
I had this boxed up and it motor-boated like a late sixties Evinrude two stroke outboard that desperately needs a new spark plug.
Some stuff up in there, put it in the 'to re-visit later' pile as I had other things pressing in my life.
Turns out I had some wrong schematic connections in the pt2399 section of board, @Chuck D. Bones had another gracious look at the schematic I had drawn up and pointed me to the goof ups, including a screwy Diptrace footprint for the 2N3906.
Ordered an updated corrected board and it all works. Have to try a bit more with it to see how I like the settings, only tested it so far, all knobbies and outputs work, so yaya, big yay.
I laid this out specially for my pedal board where I do have a bit of reverb always on at end of chain, so no footswitch and that just allowed to shoehorn it with two stacked boards into a 125B. Tight as the Bishops daughter.
