TME components

So I was looking for MP1458P opamps and no one had any. I found a site that had them, called TME. I looked at the 'about' and they've been in business for 30 years, and had a pretty good price on these so I ordered 50 to get the good price break. They had a very strange checkout, but I jumped through the hoops and paid them about 30 bucks, of which 10 was shipping. THEN I looked at the receipt and saw the pic at the bottom. Um... they're in poland! whuaaa? Honest injun I thought I was buying from the USA. oops. anyone ever deal with TME before? They have a lot of stuff..... thousands of items.....

I buy from TME from time to time. Good, reputable seller, sort of local Mouser. They have branches in several countries (US too).

I've placed a couple orders with TME as I just discovered them recently, they've been excellent to deal with. Great prices, and extremely fast shipping. Both of my orders got from Poland to my door in less than a week even with their cheapest shipping method.

huh, and it has a higher voltage limit. And three times the price that I paid tho (.338 vs .90). I'll add one to my open tayda order to play with. Thanks!

Many times, the prefixes and suffixes are manufacturer specific and/or packaging codes.

Looks like they have some SMD j201s too, I'll keep them in mind the next time I'm looking for jfets.

I doubt they will be available for a long time. Recently, they are quite rarely in stock at TME.

Well you can always check this page on Octopart. They have all the distributors of MMBFJ201 listed on this page, and their current on hand quantity. Abacus has about half a million! This is where I found TME towards the bottom of the listing. They list authorized and unauthorized distributors.
