CONTEST Tube Screaming Tuesdays

CONTEST
ay cheers ✌🏻
indeed not, it’s a ridiculous enclosure but it works for me..

hot tip: with x3 16mm pots, pretty much anything that’s no larger than a 20x13 veroboard will fit.
Thank you for the tip! I have this bookmarked for future reference!

I keep missing these contest entries. Hopefully, this post will get me in line for next Tuesday . . . .

I give you the "Screaming Eagle" - a dual modified TS-808 circuit using a GuitarPCB "Tube Screaming Ultra" board.
Had to modify the concentric B50K post to acquire an approximation of the usual W20K pots used in a TS.
I thought the concentric pots would free up some real-estate on the enclosure to better expose the artwork.

Next Tuesday's submission will be a modified PedalPCB "Little Green Scream Machine" - the "Green Meanie". 🥴

I left.. Couldn't stand the weather:p
Starting in 1989, I used to travel to Houston frequently for manufacturer update training on testing equipment purchases. It was always the same small group of people so we got to know each other and had a bit of fun with it. Two trips I distinctly recall are the first;
While there the Loma Prieta earthquake happened. The test equipment we were training on actually recorded "ripples" because one of the data points being collected was the liquid level inside a horizontal underground steel tank.
The second notable trip (and coincidently our last) also involved nature being naughty;
1998 tropical storm Frances was headed straight for Galveston. The training had been cancelled so we rode down to..yup, Galveston. I'll try to find the polaroid of me being swallowed by a wave that crashed over the seawall / parking area. We left as the water was starting to cross the road to the bridge out. (y)

Sorry..boring old dude story...😴

It's TUESDAY 2:30am, and as usual I'm up prowling the forum instead of sleeping before work...

I missed the first week, so here's my this-week entry, a LanderGaff Dimed-nambic Oderdryfe corruption:

Last week my friend and I were trying different combinations of diodes in the sockets and the power went intermittent, then it stopped passing sound altogether — two separate issues.

Got some debugging and improving to do... *sigh*

I don't want to repair/debug, I just want to build new stuff...

Nothing too fancy here. A Greengage I built for a coworker. I played this one only for about 2 hours and had to give it up. Will be making one again for sure. And of course i had to get a family photo with my OG TS9. As of now this was my only TS build. I've got another on deck soon though.
