Uhm.......what the heck Kingtone??

I do not like anything about this. lol. It’s ugly AF and seems to me like the jack layout is going to cause problems. Can’t say for certain but I’d expect that many right angle plugs like pancake style wouldn’t fit so close together and you’ve got the power jack right there too, so practically speaking even if your right angle jacks ARE small enough to fit stacked like that they’re going to have to at least partially cover the dip switches. Either that or just use straight plugs which of course you don’t see a ton on pedalboard patch cables.

The only appeal I can really see there is if you’re wanting it to stay underneath your board or under a riser/tier as an “always on” or remotely controlled by a switcher/looper.

It looks like the design was inspired by the preamp from a cheap 90s acoustic-electric. 😏

I like unique enclosures but that's just weird.

Can you even turn those knobs from the top? What if it's bumped right up next to another pedal on a board?

I have a cool portable radio from when I was helping my dad clear out some stuff in my grandparents’ basement. Debating either fixing it up or gutting it for the germanium transistors in it and turning it into a lofi amp

Those are cool.

You aren't going to scrap them are you? 😟

My granddad used to listen to Paul Harvey on one of those in the morning while shaving before work.

I can still smell the Barbasol and witch hazel.
No, they're just pics I found that reminded me of the knobs on the pedal. I must have accidentally deleted my text before I hit reply.

A - I'm team hell-yeah-no-more-needlessly-giant-enclosures-wait-a-tick-what-the-fuck-is-up-with-the-jacks-like-a-good-chunk-of-patch-cables-on-the-market-straight-up-aren't-gonna-fit-whose-idea-was-that

B - Did they silkscreen the default DIP switch layout onto the case? Seems like uninformed end-users might find it confusing.
