Always start with the new stuff - new 2X12 Mojotone Lerxt Omega cabinet to go with the Silver Jubilee - and yes, Virginia, it passes the "Limelight" test... with flying colors!!!

Okay... so... well... this happened... in my defense I was left unsupervised...
Backstory...
Was at my FLGS (favorite local guitar store) today for my lesson. After my lesson I always look around to see what is new. They had a one of the new SG Supremes in, so I gave that a whirl. Sounded good, but I think I like my 61 custom I got for effectively the same price better. They also had nice 24-fret Tom Anderson Angel with a Floyd on consignment, but I wasn't terribly crazy with the bridge pickup. I'd been looking at the Mojotone Lerxt amps online, but obviously they didn't have any of those in the store. However, one of my friends at the store had brought in his personal Silver Jubilee combo amp and asked me if I'd like to play it... (which was really nice of him, as this is his gigging amp - I asked if he was sure and he said "I've played tons of your stuff so sure!")
... so into the loud room I go. I've only got one of my strats with me, so I grab a Bog Standard Les Paul Standard (unburst with Burstbuckers) off the wall to see what it can do... and... well... wow... Made that Standard sound absolutely amazing. With a little tweaking I was able to start getting some really good Rush-like sounds out of it (clearly limited more by the squishy hairless ape at the end of the signal chain than the equipment itself). Then my friend comes in and shows me it's other party tricks... which are extensive. Given it has really nice clean and crunch channels, and if you mess around with the input gain you get some amazing Plexi out of it too...
... then I glance over and they have one spankin' new Silver Jubilee head that's been sitting around for months also in the loud room (I'm not sure there was actually a cunning plan involved, but if so, it was very cunning!). Apparently they're not a Marshall dealer anymore since the ownership change and this is it as Marshall equipment goes in the store... so they "made me an offer I couldn't refuse."
At this point I've got it running through a Two-Rock 2X12 vertical cabinet - but eventually I want to pair it up with a 2X12 with at least one V30... though if anyone has any other recommendations, I'm all ears.
Needless to say Steggo and especially our tech guru Steggi are quite excited to check out the new toy...
First guitar I played through the amp was something also relatively new. A couple of weeks ago I'd gone to the Gibson Garage and this one followed me home a few days later (was nice to pay Oregon rather than Nashville sales tax)...
I think I have a problem...
That being said - one thing I love about this new amp, is it has a 5W mode. Yes, it isn't going to have the same punch as full power, but much like my Vox AC15 - it's a tube amp I can actually play in the house without blowing out a wall...
