My guess, from what I saw on TPS, was made the bass and clipping adjustable via trimpots. Basically what the aion fx andromeda is, which is a great pedal.
Ha! I built myself one of the Aion pedals and it's good but not amazing with my rig. Maybe I don't need a Shanks - I'm certainly not spending the $$ Vemuram are asking.
