Meh. Schottkys sound great and goop is cheap.
Agreed. Schottky diodes in everything!

Ya I think I am in this camp as well. No shade to the die hard magic dioders.Agreed. Schottky diodes in everything!
High reverse leakage current?Shottky diodes have a design flaw built into them, Do you know what it is???
Maybe it's the goop that adds the magic...??Meh. Schottkys sound great and goop is cheap.
Looks like he’s using D9Es which is cool.I wonder if the Aion Refractor kits still come with germanium diodes? The one I built in March of 2022 did. View attachment 65453
Guess what is being released in the next couple of days, I knew it was going to happen!I don't think he made a wise decision releasing this Germanium version!
He has to deal with his decision for back then & now for the changes made.
Is the Deluxe next?
Considering the pedal is doing a dual clean signal blend, By having about the same threshold the pedal should behave the same. Worst case, add the parallel resistor and it will do the trick (image I found online

P.S: NUX did the same https://nuxefx.blogspot.com/2019/06/how-do-we-develop-nux-horseman-tribute.html
another couple of thousand just recently, you will see in a couple of days what his new pedal release will be!So Wampler supposedly obtained the same diodes as the original Klon?
Image search online. But I'be measured similar results beforeWhere did you find that response curve? I'm curious about whether or not there was a resistor in series with the signal before it hit the diodes.
I got some that looked like that from DiYStompboxes and a couple were just bad. A few were in the .3 range most were like .47-.53Some of them were fine but some of them had a crazy high forward voltage for germanium.
Yes, I do.Shottky diodes have a design flaw built into them, Do you know what it is???
