The Lovetone is the least Flangery of all Flangers (boy did spell check go wild on THAT statement). Which is both a good and bad thing. Versatility on steroids. Looking to cop "Barracuda"? Not so much (although it could pull off the Alien Attack sound during the solo). Still in Heart mode though if you're looking for the "Go On Cry" sound from Dog and Butterfly, it's all over it.

I kind of want to do one with a scientology theme and call it the xenutron. That's not jet sounds, it's an interstellar DC-8!

Which filtertron did you previously have in there? I’ve had the hardware for a Tele build (that I’ve been planning since I was 13 but still haven’t committed to building, 11 years later), and I’ve been planning on a filtertron for it. Thinking TV Jones Brian Setzer perhaps

My favorite, (from Douglas Adams), is "Slarty Bartfast". It's a name I have slated for one of those TL431 fuzz circuits when I get around to coming up with some artwork for the enclosure.

As shown in that specific schematic, it sounds gated and farty. By adding some more parts, it can be cleaned up a little bit. It's not a very "nice" circuit. But for that "torn speaker" sound, it nails it.

So... This things pretty meh. Not bad sounding, but stock it's really pretty lackluster compared to my other phasers, especially the Mu-Tron based boxes. The last one I built was the DeadEnd version, but that was before I built the Phasor and BiPhase clones

Running a few tweaks on it before I box it back up, but without some serious changes, I don't see this one making my board
