Yeah I think ground gets to it ok, but the power comes from the SW, which normally goes through the CLR and LED. So yeah I think you jumper those? You could probably verify all that with a multimeter, checking that it's connected like that.

Built up the Aberration fuzz, looks great. Any tips on the biasing? I read 4.5V, but where am I supposed to measure that from, exactly? Just one of the legs of the GE transistor I assume, or is it Q3? Biasing is one thing I don't quite understand (for BJT's at least, for J-FET's I can get it done). Yes, jumper them. This will leave the SW pad on the main PCB being just 9V which goes to this board and you have the CLR from there.

I turned on my iron for the first time in a couple months to fix this Marshall Shredmaster for someone. The input jack was broken. When I got inside, I discovered that someone had already replaced the output jack and swapped the DC jack for a 2.1mm instead of the 2.5mm it originally had. The soldering on the output jack was pretty bad, so I removed all the old solder and redid the connections. Next up are some guitar repairs for the same person

Here's my quick heatsink idea for heat shrinking my LED wires. Worked perfectly! No more melted bezel caps.
