Transparent copper has been on my shopping list for a long time.

I like the darkened edges. But with transparent powders this is usually an unintended effect, at least in my case. No matter how hard I try, the edges usually get a little extra powder.

The darker edges on this totally make the look.

Here we have transparent copper. Only one coat on these since transparent copper is a top coat. I ran over the enclosures with an orbital sander to give a sanded finish underneath the transparent coating.

Getting back to work. Went with 2n2221 for Q1/2 and 2n2222a for Q3 for the Si version. hfes of 64, 70, 170. Kinda seemed right.

For anyone building the dizzy elk on the gnat board, note the avoided jumper via D1. Yeah, it's not symmetrical. But it's one less part.

Just tested this new guy! It’s the Dudson Narrowcast from @dylan159 on FSB, I have to say I’m impressed. It’s pretty close to the Hudson Broadcast! And I love there’s no transformer and I made the PCB small enough to put into a 1590BB with another circuit (one of my favorite things to do)

Small Clone via the Aion Lithium board. Decided to guinea pig it and use the MN3207. Seems to work fine



Also, I think I'm starting to hate Aion's breakout boards
