What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I have been working on one of two Sonomatic delay builds. I’m making one for myself and one for a friend that I’m going to see in Italy in July. So I have a deadline which is great motivation to make progress. All components and sockets are in. The trim pots I have don’t fit so I have to order different ones (does anybody know what model they are supposed to be with that pin out?). I also want to get some DPDT foot switches for the second switch because I hate to waste a pole!

Finally got around to sprucing up a bare enclosure Ibanez Standard Fuzz clone I bought for cheap. This is about the extent of my artistic skills, golden sharpie and then black on top, but it's better than nothing.

Also added a footswitch to a Dreamtime Delay (from that big lot of pedals, again) and did some troubleshooting with the LFO leds not working correctly, tuned the LED resistor value, finished up any issues with the Riot PPCB clone, changed the battery on my strat Axtivator and tuned the treble booster frequency a bit on there too. Plus got a couple of long standing stuff done around the house too. Busy day!

Only one pedal left in the lot of pedals, plus knobs and labels for the Dreamtime, and then I might be able to sell some of them off. Maybe next weekend, although I'll probably get my Tayda order next week.
 
And the last of the non-footswitch-pedals is now footswitchable! I managed to fit in a 3PDT into this one so it was quite simple. This one is a GuitarPCB Disturbance, I actually like it more than the PPCB Disarray. The tone switch didn't seem to do that much on that one, and here there's instead a clipping switch I can use to select less clipping, which means less grainy distortion. Just the tube pedal left to check (the posting for the pedals said "the controls don't do much" so it could be just fine and just a weird design, or could be some mistake in it) and knobs and text for the Dreamtime and I should be good to maybe sell them. I quite like this one and the King of Tone so might keep one or both of those - need to shoot out the KoT against the King of the Morning to see which one I like more.

The toggle in the Disarray is a clipping switch as well.

Ohh! I just looked at the Suhr site where they say

"VOICE SWITCH
The versatile three position voicing switch provides Classic, Modern (Full bodied), and Scooped EQ settings."

and didn't check the schematic to see what it actually does (or is that a different revision? it's pretty misleading if it's a clipping switch in the current retail one too).

Maybe I'll try it again and shoot it against the other one. FWIW one of the other pedals was significantly improved by switching the op amp, so it's also possible one (or both) in the Disarray is bad too, I didn't check how they look.
 
The Disarray is based on the Riot Reloaded.

As far as I can tell though, the toggle was a clipping switch even in the standard version, so the Classic/Modern/Scooped description is a bit odd. Maybe they've revised the circuit at some point over the years...

There are a few component value differences compared to the Disturbance so that could be why you prefer that one.
