What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

First pedal i build in literally years. Tacobolt. It works but there's way too much volume early on and I need to fix the voltages.

The issue is this freaking Tayda enclosure was not threaded properly and one screw broke in the hole. 3 will hold but I should've checked before drilling.

I hate building pedals. The tiny pads, tinning wires. All the little things.

Bah
FWIW I've started putting only two screws diagonally in the enclosures lately, I don't gig so it's plenty enough and less hassle opening/closing them again. Sometimes if one thread is misbehaving I just use the other pair instead, it's easier that way.

Im still coming up with plans on how to get it off the pallet! Its my first time lifting a 1000 pounds into the air! :ROFLMAO:
Heavy lumber through the leg castings and some floor jacks/ jack stands maybe?

If you build out an H structure and support it at 4 corners, might not be too sketchy.

I’m actually on my way to get lumber so I can prop up the first pallet, that will allow me to pull out the second pallet from underneath which will then allow me to position the engine hoist to hoist it up!
Lifting up the press brake high enough to get it on the stand is the true challenge

I hadn’t even thought about it not being stacked/ assembled yet!

I used to wrestle 800 lb drums of vegetable glycerin off of pallets when we'd get shipments. I'm not that stout. You can do it, lol.

Just kidding, don't hurt yourself.

If the wheels are already attached, could you possibly build a small ramp on one side to ease it off gradually?

Edit: Didn't see that it wasn't assembled. This sounds like fun...

It’s bolted to the top pallet and need to get that out from under it. Then somehow get it 30in into the air to get it seated onto the legs! Im going to take pics along the way to show how I got it off!

Yesterday's jam at a friend's house yielded two pedals showing up on my workbench (but not the OG MXR Dist+ that the friend was supposed to dig out for me to fix).

All I know about the pedals is that neither works.
The Flanger may be about the footswitch, but... just have to plug in and see what's up/down.

Also at the jam, the friend had this Gnome hidden away, I wasn't previously aware he had this Tone-Gem.

The Garnet amp prompted a conversation with the drummer (who also plays bass) about his "Uncle Gar". 🤯
The drummer keeps his drums and a lot of other gear in friend's basement. A lot of gear...

Drummer's cousin gave him this 4x12, supposedly meant for keys...
