More Mail! (Apparently)

Forgot I ordered this since it was a while coming from the UK, but it’s a mint pickguard for a Squier mini Strat that I’m going to do… something to.

Thinking of refinishing in Sonic blue and leaving it at that, but I’ve also debated doing a mini version of George Harrison’s Rocky Strat. Either way, the aged mint is the way to go. When it’s all done, I’ll be stringing it up with some extra light strings and tuning it to G#, or if I can pull it off, A, for some fun pseudo- alto guitar action.
I refinned a squier strat in sonic blue with a parchment guard. It's "fine"

This showed up awhile back....

Maybe this is cheating because I got it last week, but I wanted to share anyways.

Sometimes I buy an album based on the cover alone, and sometimes it pays off. If you want to hear some wild psychedelic folk rock you should check out Bobb Trimble.

During the early 1980s, he had two backing bands: The Kidds (the average age of the band members was 12 years old) and The Crippled Dog Band (average age was 15 years).[2] "Suspicious parents" pulled the plug on both bands.[3]
Yiiiiiikes.

Still, I'll have to check his music out!

I used to work at a place that instead of an employee of the month award, it was the u rock award. They'd hand you a softball sized rock with a "u" painted on it and snap a Polaroid. I considered it a small step above spitting on my shoe. I'm glad you have the decency to spell out the word "you."

I like this thread for many reasons. Mainly the feeing I get knowing I’m not the only one that enjoys what’s in the mail.

Today’s mail was possibly a first for me. Tayda and PedalPCB arriving on the same day. 👍🏼👍🏼 Another first, all the parts for the PCBs are in the Tayda bag. I’ve never been able to do a one stop shop until now. 👍🏼👍🏼
