Heat gun for shrink wrap stuff. Better than using a lighter. I tried a quick test and it worked and didn't explode, so I'm happy. Or at least not unhappy about that particular thing. Also came with a heap of shrink tubing.

AliExpress link here. Took 8 days from China to my doorstep, which is impressive.

Plectrum for scale. Always fun to recieve a generously proportioned phallic object in the mail.

I use a similar one and have found that it's replace my big heat gun. All kinds of neat uses beside shrink wrap. I use it to dry off PCB's after cleaning with IPA mostly.

I had the same idea today. The heat gun got its first serious use today, doing the shrink tubing thing. Worked well.

Time to shove some Ice Scream and a Rat (MBP Slow Loris) into a BB (or BB2 for more jack space). Built the sherbert version for a guy and now he wants another pushing the Rat. I feel like this is going be a trip to screech/oscillation town. We shall see. May just socket the version components and lower the gain if needed.
