I think the Gladio one looks freaking awesome! Is that just lighting on the yellow one? or is there a ripple in the coating?

The yellow one still has the plastic on so it's light reflecting off that (plus the dark spots are caused by the plastic too). The only blemish I noticed was in the top left one and you can't see it in the picture.

Some @fig gotten gains here. Tim's generosity set me up to build my "always on/end of chain" pedal that will go underneath my pedal board but I forgot to order the fets. @Robert was so very kind to throw them in for free. Much gratitude, sirs.

Isn’t the Orange Terror a tube amp? Can’t tell if it’s a Tiny or a Micro. I have the Tiny and it’s full tube. I think the micro is a hybrid.

The micro is indeed a hybrid. One token 12ax7 in the preamp and a class d power amp

Micro Dark and it's a hybrid. So the Monoprice is my first non-hybrid tube amp. If I had a Tiny Terror, then I wouldn't have bothered with the Monoprice.

Haven't gotten a chance to fire it up. Plenty of demos on YT. They are basically a Laney Cub 12, I think. Look for either the Monoprice or Harley Benton 15W. Same exact amp, different name.

Banzai order in. A bunch of pots, ICs and caps, jacks and...metal washers for footswitches. No more white washers!
I also broke down and spent almost 8 euros on a strip board cutter. Hopefully it works better than my dull drill bits with no handle.

The number of amps you need is n+1, where n is the number of amps you currently have.

I finished building a new amp a couple weeks ago and my wife asked "Why do you need another amp? You don't even play the guitar."

I'm so misunderstood.

Have eyeballed these for years and finding out that DIY has been attempted with mixed results led me to pull the trigger. Besides, this will be worth THOUSANDS of dollars a few years down the road now that they are out of business! It’s an investment, right? RIGHT!?

I JUST looked at the price of blackface deluxe reverb transformers, choke, reverb driver and tank. $200 without shipping..... An empty cab is more than this amp.....
