Careful! There’s rumors of an increasing porch pirate issue in NC. I’d recommend that you send it over my way, and I’ll hang onto it until I can guarantee that it can safely make its way to you. With all of the shipping damage issues, you unfortunately won’t be able to safely receive it until 2099, but I’ll keep it safe in the meantimeI’ve been eyeing this…so hoping to see it in the mail..close enough?

Hey, I have those preferences too, but when it comes to a Rickenbacker I’ll take what I can get— or rather I’ll take what I can not never get (if it seems confusing, that’s because it is confusing)

Yeah, but I have the matching bass, so there's that problem [as if that were a problem in any of the 33-1/3 known universes]. A /12 would be nice however....

Roger that, I add extraneous art with them fairly often just because I can. A lot of the boards I have made are pretty small so the prices aren't so onerous. Once you get close to a full pedal box size footprint or worse yet a full blown tube preamp and/or power amp those prices start to sting for sure. I live close enough to them to get things more or less the next day once they ship, at least. And I've been given quite a few free upgrades to the 5 day service.

I always leaned toward my Les Paul over my Strats, but the ES-335 is sure giving my Les a run for its money...
Sad thing is I ultimately had to break down and buy new. I'd found a couple of old, well-used, but in good shape guitars... but the price was outrageous... something about the previous owner and what not...

I'm a Les Paul, but I always loved that semi-hollow feel and tone. I had an ES-333 for a while and it was excellent, but I'm a little dude and the body is just too damn big. So I'm getting an ES Les Paul built 
probably another month or so before it's in the mailbox, but I'm excited about it.

I tried 339s and I liked them, they're comfortable, my big hangup with those is aesthetics. The body is a miniature 335 body but it's not a miniature neck, so it looks off to me
Completely trivial I know, I have no other issues with 339s, but my brain doesn't like the look.

I've been working on my buddy Marco Cortes to do a 335 or 175-ish guitar build for me once he gets back on his feet. Or maybe more like ES-125 style, or Howard Roberts Fusion, or...Sounds like we have similar tastes
Meanwhile, Global Saver have finally handed off my JLC package to the USPS in Long Beach. Maybe tomorrrow...arrrggghhh!
