That enclosure design is rad! I still need to get a design done up for my synchros– made those tayda drill files and still haven't even used them myself

I ordered some of PW's open source thru hole project boards from OshPark. They should be here this week.
I'm planning to build two of them for acoustic instruments (one is for a buddy that has an acoustic open mic gig) and build one as a Bass Preamp for my fledgling bass career

@Passinwind assures me that the bass spec version will make me play just like Jaco.....

Some trash can knobs for a fun little fuzz box I’ve had planned for a long time; colored footswitch dress nuts for a few different builds; a pair of fancy aluminum knobs for the echo foxtrot (when I eventually get around to doing that one); colored mini mirror-top knobs for the terrarium and maybe my redshift phaser; tiny MXR knobs for the fv-1 dev box; a better setter since I have OCD and it bothers me to no end when my knobs are half a degree off

I saw the knob-setter and nearly picked one up, but... cart was already full ie $$$...
Let us know how well it works, I may have to get one in future.

If I read it right he's aleady planning on building up all three boards. But since you'll already be getting a care package from me soon I could probably throw in a set of the new ones. Looks like I already need to order more, I thought ten sets would suffice for a while longer than this.

I've often wondered what the odds are that several packages arrive together when I see other forumites here receive two, three or more packages on the same day.
Must be something due to the sorting process...

Canada post, an envelope from PPCB that gives size reference to a SmallSynthCubeBear box that's about 25cm (10") deep.

Unusual to have shipping/handling charges on PPCB orders, but this envelope had some more TL072 in it — parts apart from PCBs in an envelope seem to trigger a different path. Nonetheless, a very reasonable CAD 16.95 (USD 12.50) including the GST. No duties, excise nor other taxes.

The SB order has some Hammond looper boxes that were being blown out, hence the size of the box. Shipping and handling CAD 17.77 (USD 13.11) — no duties nor excise, just the GST again. EXTREMELY REASONABLE! It's a BIG order in many senses, I was beginning to be worried it was lost or stolen.

SHIPPING & HANDLING AT REASONABLE RATES — our respective Governmental Postal Services are still doing a few things right! GO POSTAL!

Maybe somewhat pedal related since I use my lathe for pedal related activities, but I got a four jaw chuck for my lathe that was delivered today. That should come in handy for some things I'm already doing and also give me a lot more to discover as well.

I also got a new live center. The other one I have has blown bearings and takes up a lot more space than this one. I get about an inch back in length with this one and, more importantly, I get some more clearance around the work piece closest to the tailstock.

I'm filling in with a band for a gig, and they have a LOUD DRUMMER. So I felt it was time to get some decent earplugs, and I ordered a couple of types to try out. Both come in handy little aluminium containers. The downbeats seem to fit better but they're less quiet.

And also today I got these; five x EA2-5NU chips. Because I will eventually need one for my Electric Ladyland PCB.

They're from AliExpress, so they might be dodgy, I have no way of checking. BUT: I found no evidence anywhere that these things are being faked, and the seller looks pretty reliable by AE standards.

Only time will tell if these are legit, but I'm reasonably confident. The printing does not photograph well on my phone, but in reality they look exactly like the pictures, but with a different batch number or date code or whatever that is.
