Me too, for the most part. But I hadn't done a tube one in a really long time and I have some pretty fun tweaks planned for it.

The only tube amps I've ever like were a 59 BassMan and a random Twin. I really love amps with a ton of clean head room, and prefer to get my dirt from stomps. Is there a board you'd recommend for something along those lines tonewise? I really don't need as much power as those amps provide

How about a Traynor Monoblock or the Traynor TS-50 (AionFX), but with a more powerful D-class switching power module.

Buuuut, I've wanted one of these pearl white Hodads since they released, and until now wasn't able to get my hands on one. This one popped up on Reverb, in amazing condition and I couldn't stop myself from hitting the buy now button. The seller also lives fairly close, so he hand delivered it.
Almost new condition, with a set of unopened original strings
That's 2 of 3 of my dream guitars crossed off the list

All quiet here in tropical paradise....got a house full of sick people. Son just got over the flu, now my wife is down pretty hard with the flu.
AND Bonnie the WonderDog got spayed a couple days ago. So I've been playing nursemaid mostly.

Good luck with that. We've had a merry-go-round of colds, flu and covid in my house over the last few months. Fingers crossed runny noses and coughs just feck off soon.

The pickups I accidently bought came. They're allparts firebird pickups.
Honestly, I never intended to buy these pickups, but they were on my reverb watch list as a placeholder. The dimensions in the diagram seemed to be exactly what I needed so I saved em as a reminder. Then after a few weeks, Allparts sent me an unsolicited offer for a lower price. Since I had no intentions of buying, I countered with $30 for the pair. Much to my surprise, they accepted my offer and here we are.

my christmas present to myself, a miniware (the brand that makes the ts100 soldering irons) ds213 teeny tiny oscilloscope. kind of exaggerated how bad of a cold I have to take today off to play with it when it showed up.
