My overhaul of my prs is almost complete. It's staying in tune again so I thought I'd replace the intermittent coil split and scratchy volume pot.

These arrived this afternoon from sixstringsupplies.co.uk they custom order their own pots from CTS with their own taper and 8% tolerance. I've not used this type of push/pull CTS pot before.

Le sigh.

When you're ordering pots for a rewire and can't find the 0.022uf caps you know you've got so order a new one thinking they'll turn up one day.

The new pots and cap arrive so you open a component drawer to keep them safe until you're going to use them... then you see these just sitting in a baggie in that drawer

Got those same pots for a future update to my SG to add push/pull pots to it's setup. Love it's tone as is so unsure if I'll put them in any time soon. Never used these type before either, let me know how it goes for you.

Woohoo! My man @steviejr92 hooked me up with one his mad scientist creations!!

Man, I can't believe how far Stevie's progressed in the hobby in such a short time. Seems like just a few months ago he was asking noob questions here....(like "what's the polarity of a resistor?? ) and now he's become my #1troubleshooting guru and go to guy to ask stupid questions I'm too ashamed to ask here on the forum......

(and the build docs read like a novella.....!)

I'm so stoked to build this! I've got a Mojo laden metal can LM308 set aside for this!
