[Silver Blues]

Have been working late all month and came home today to find no less than six packages on my desk, containing:

Very excited about my first blue box! The contents and the enclosure in the wrap at the top left are for something I'll share in a later build report (it's not as exciting as I'm making it sound, haha). The rest of it is parts for my Nobelium build; I decided to go with silver hammer for the enclosure and it looks mint.

Was I supposed to get a beer with this order? I think they forgot to put that in the box.

I like the GCPB mod-boards. Screwed up my order and got a few 1s instead of 10s for some things.



Today



Painters-tape helps me keep track of what each of the 100s of PCBs I've yet to build are.
- I've already got a few Os Mutantes type PCBs, but... I'm obsessed!
- EQD — I will build every EQD pedal possible, I like them, I like them better after Chuck D. Bones has cleaned them up!
- Muff obsession runs unabated.
- Boost obsession formulated when every-time I saw friend's band, couldn't hear his solos even when he boosted them.
- Not sure what Spider/Epider is all about, but I must've had a reason.

Thanks!! I normally use Osh but I thought I'd give JLC a try for this small trial project, as the price is very attractive. (Still) haven't had a chance to properly inspect but the boards look really good for the entire $4 USD I spent on them

It came sorta damaged (as evidenced by the absolutely obliterated tube), so I’ll email on Monday about that, but I got a signed poster when I preordered Devo’s new compilation/career-retrospective CD. Any other spuds get in on that?

Mail came so late yesterday I didn't get a chance to put these up.

First off, latest new boards from @Robert wooohooo......that 3 channel Splitter might be the sexiest new board released......(@Harry Klippton)

What I'm stoked about is that 2 of these boards were my requests.....The Barber Direct Drive (Candid) and the Shin Ei (ShinDig).

I have high hopes for the splitter too. I have some noise issues with my home rolled active splitter, hoping this will solve it.

Next up, I got my ToneHatch pickups. I don't even know why I ordered them. They were so cheap (like less than GFS cheap) yet have a strong following, so I was curious. I don't really have a guitar to put them in at the moment.
