I got my first blue box full of SCHMORG stuff today!

-A tiny clone of the PedalPCB Parasite Wah clone of the Tychobrahe Parapedal Wah
-Footswitch daughter-board with enlarged holes to accept my thicker in/out wires
-Some daughter-boards to accommodate different LED+trimmer arrangements

..Can anyone spot more than two mistakes?

I told her to just wrap it and I would act surprised. She dejectedly told me to just take it. I just wanted to check that it wasn't jacked up where a return/exchange might be in order. It's all back in the box and I will wrap it up and put it under the tree, where it will be a surprise for her when I open it.

Admittedly, I have an online list so buying for me is pretty damned easy. There were 4 kits on the list, only that one is currently in stock.

My wife has actually told me to just buy myself stuff. "It will be easier on me". She has been screwing me over for years by buying herself stuff right before Christmas, our anniversary , and her birthday. In fact, I apparently bought her a purse recently, that arrived in the mail today.

Yes! That's on purpose- it's going under a faceplate rather than in an enclosure with top jacks so the format's a bit different.

The goofs I see so far are:
-IC1 text is upside down compared to the rest of the labeling- saw this awhile ago
-I mixed up the LED switch traces on the footswitch daughter-board- just saw this today

Making mistakes and learning lessons
If I'm any good I'll get one together and test it after dinner to uncover any further erroneous monkey business.

Freezing cold in PA. I'm actually looking at an electric heater for my garage at the moment. Would be nice to spray in the winter.

I actually spray in my office/converted bedroom with an airbrush and a hobby paint booth since the humidity is an issue most of the year here.

-6ºC Here. Still no snow. Been a very forgiving fall, early winter — but the farmers need it to snow big time for the rest of the winter.


My wife wouldn't know what to get me exactly in terms of our hobby or music gear. Maybe if I mentioned stuff I liked and was better at dropping hints... She'd probably just roll her eyes. Also, if I told her what I wanted, specifically, then she might catch on to what I'm spending* on all this stuff.

Another 11/11 arrival.

So the little cat on the left was something @fydo had on a really slick CAT build; I liked it so much I had to get one too. Also got the yin-yang cats and an adaptation of an Edvart Munch painting — guess what kind of pedal "The Meowl" is based on?

These pins are additions to my collection I have for pedal art. Of course, I can't find my others to take a group-pic with these new ones. I particularly wanted to show off the Chinese-spoon with dumpling — going on my DIM SUM WONTON pedal. Infact... A bunch of my saved pedal art has gone missing. My humpucker pickup has gone missing. My PPCB 3-Ch Mixer PCB has gone missing. Things keep going missing — I'm going fucking nuts, it's pissing me right off and I've turned the place upside down trying to find things and instead of finding things more items are going missing FFS.

Oh, the handful of transistors are 2N5459, hopefully.









Black Friday Arrival
Some Gørva arrived as well, some assorted enclosures and a kit.
Looks like the M45 will be big enough for rehousing my Swiff Tuner,
with TOPJACKS!
