Already found a bag of 100ish 2n2222s branded PH(Philco or Philips?)
It's mostly RCA, Philco and GE branded. Will dig in more tonight.
No, well not like this volume. They had 2-3 other component lots listed but nothing special. In my haggling they said it was brought in by a customer on an exchange. Most of their other listings are just random junk. Time will tell how much junk this is but I think I'll get my money's worth. Got them down to $230 and the 2n2222s, these days, are worth a third of that at least. There's a handful of black GE 2Nxx and 2Nxxx in there so I'm hopeful. Will take me years to sort through it. In self debating the purchase outloud, I matched out that a TI can lm358 weighs 1100mg so that would be 1227 units if they were all opamps. Given there's a good bit of transistors, I'm guessing over 2k units...I'mOhh cool!!! Do they have more on that eBay store?
Wow 2K is a lot! Good luck and shout if you find stuff you want to get rid ofNo, well not like this volume. They had 2-3 other component lots listed but nothing special. There's a bunch other components mixed in though. But hopeful that I'll have a few hundred usuable mojo bits out of it.

My friend sent me some custom wound "knuckle dusters" to try out in my squire. I'm excited as they are hopefully the last piece to change out.
*Jack fails next Tuesday. Entire rewiring ensues*I’m sure it’s the “last piece.” Until another one comes along.
That hardly seems like a ridiculous purchase. In this episode of ridiculous purchases...
The $ amount was. But, I think it will pay for itself. It was a gamble because the photos were not good. There were a dozen and I could make out 3-5 parts per. I'm gonna Scrooge McDuck dive into it in a few. Definitely won't sort it all (lol) but I'll have a better idea of what I have. If it's as good as I hope, I hope to offer up some lots on the trading post with some silver mica assortments I'm also sorting through. That hardly seems like a ridiculous purchase.
I get it, but at the end of the day, I'm sure you've wasted more money on cable television or potato chips than you have on hard-to find transistors. The $ amount was.
