What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

I borrowed a CR1 a long time ago, didn't understand what it was at the time ( other than an acceptable generic amp ). Used it for months rehearsing a band that disintegrated. It was why I grabbed a pair of CG-60's to plug stereo effects into ( red piping and one of the most hated speakers in history ) One of those is still here. The speaker from the other is in a new cab, worked well w several lunchbox heads I've tried. ( I don't hate it ) G12M70 or something like that.

Edit: The only overdrive was the output volume knob of a Digitech PDS2002. This is a Crate CR1. 1991. http://kreopensas.com/beauty.mp3

I’m had a crate combo amp that I eventually took the head out of and powered a larger cab. It worked for years. No idea what happened to it.

A Multitool (screw looking around to find all I need), Ibanez 5 way because I love them and will start a new build soon, and two sided acrylic plates to laser a logo for my amp build. Then I realized… I could also do pedal faceplates with this. So I guess new pedal builds soon too.

What about the Ibanez 5 way do you like? I've been using CRL clones for my builds and they blow away any of the Fender branded Oaks Grigsby switches.

They have the positions I like for HH, are convinient to solder, not deep (I build rather thin guitar) and the mechanism is half open so spraying it is easy. Just make sure you are at max 5mm top thickness, more might cause issues with the tip hitting the top.

Nice. A friend of mine swears by this set.
I just finished building a Tele with my son and we put these in his. They sound great. Not the old school vintage tele, definitely modern, but still clearly telecaster without the hum. I’m basically building one that is to Ultra II spec, but with some personal preferences, complete with the parallel/series push pull pot.

Two Boosty McBuffers and Distiller CE from JTEX! Distiller for my bass, and one BMB for the Epiphone Alleycat because it's too dark for my taste - hoping I can use the impedance controls to make it brighter. The other one isn't yet planned for anything, but it's a nice product so I wanted one for whatever I feel like using it in. Might even make for a crazy addition to my project guitar (the old Squier Strat, my first guitar, that I did a bunch of work on already).

Go check out the JTEX store, I noticed by chance that the prices were lowered a while back!
