I have the Revv G8 (gifted to me by @Robert so I'm sure its the one he traced 4 years ago hahaha)
I just set it all up 4 cable method in my sprawling rig with 40-45 pedals in my signal chain. It's damn impressive. Super transparent and doesn't mess with the signal dynamics. You and I play very different music but noise is noise is noise. This thing really takes it out of the equation. But it requires some tweaking, like I have to adjust my delays a bit. And the Revv has attack and release knobs that need a bit of tweaking to your rig and playing style. I would LOVE to build one. From what I understand it's the same THAT4301/4305 processor that the Zuul+ uses and is comparable. I need to build my Muzzle and see how it compares.

I did end up sniping a G8 last night and it should be here in a couple days.
I'm honestly not too impressed with the Zuul / Muzzle. Even with the key input, it messed with the picking dynamics and sustain, and changes the tone significantly.
For front of chain gating, the Smart Gate and Muffler perform about the same, meaning they both quash the single coil hiss. And, unless cranked, neither messes with the picking dynamics. Those are my picks for that position
I do have gates on the Opus and HXFX, but neither are very good honestly- Either too subtle or too extreme, with no real middle ground. And the lack of a side chain option on either hurts them both
Hoping I can put my RaTrio in the loop of the G8 to kill the rest of the noise I have to contend with

Well lemme know how the Revv works for you.
This is my second go around with the Muzzle. First one I f*cking put the LT1054 in backwards. When the THAT4305 module started smoking I knew something was wrong.......heh. I fried the module and the charge pump and I threw out the TL072 just for good measure.
I don't think it will be better than the Revv but it will be interesting to see. I love the Revv G8 but it's chafing against my "DIY or DIE" ethos......
@Robert I think this means you need to finish the Revv G8 board and release it. I'll be happy to verify it for you....

I verified a few new prototypes this week and have three or four more on the bench to go. Totally forgot to order parts so I'm scrounging things from my salvage boxes to make it happen...
