Which is pot lug #1 on Thunder Chicken PCB?

Hi, I read the fine common guide for building PCB projects, but did not find any mention on how to recognize the correct hole for pot lug #1 on PCB?

I recently bought Thunder Chicken Fixed Wah Kit but in the build guide there are no direct instructions how the pots should be mounted.

On my PCB components side, there is 1 square-shaped hole for each pot. Maybe that is for the pot lug #1?

And is the pot lug #1 the leftmost lug when the pot shaft is towards me?

Or should I just solder the connector cables on the PCB and then figure them out using gator-clips between cables and pot lugs?

The square hole is for lug 1 of each pot.

Don't forget, pots go on the opposite side of the PCB, not on the side with the components.
