I havenā€™t dated a lot in my life. I am more of a serial monogamist I guess, Iā€™ve only had long relationships.

Fun fact, when I met my wife I barely spoke any English so she asked me to go see the movie Walle since ā€œit doesnā€™t have real words in itā€. Weā€™ve been together for the last 15 years!

My wife and I will be celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary tomorrow. So here goes:

Is it fate that the date happens to correlate with such a significant Fig clickbait? Will I win, Iā€™ll just have to wait. Oh, I have a fig tree in the backyard to inflate my great summate. Iā€™ll be waiting for an update. šŸ¤˜šŸ˜…šŸ»

I was best man once on nye, it's a solid plan. It was a fun hang, most folks already had the time off and were gonna be partying that day anyway.

My own wedding, we wanted to keep it simple, marry at the courthouse and just have a reception a few months later. Turned out to be a furlough day so we converted our rehearsal dinner into our wedding so the date is one day earlier than we were planning. We had to get my brother in law "ordained" real quick. The city budget really screwed us on that one. A fancy restaurant is kind of like a church, right?

We actually had two weddings. The first one was scheduled for New Years Eve, and the documents were dated an everything. Then my mom got appendicitis. We ended up having the legal wedding the day we were supposed to, and then had a second wedding a few days later, with all the guests (maybe 12 people in total). It was a super small wedding, and we were super poor, and we did it ourselvesā€¦
