I'm just thankful for being able to add varna sankar to my list of questionable slurs I probably shouldn't be using. It sounds awesome. Muddafukkin varna sankars!
I feel the same way. I looked it up, and it was a little unclear whether it's just a fun stand in for bastard, or whether it's an insult for a person with mixed caste parents which is a whole thing I have no reference for, but doesn't seem cool.
In any case, I think we've all experienced a beautiful cultural exchange.
Varna Sankar: "...is caused when the children were not wanted by their parents and grow up to be a nuisance in the world."
That last bit makes it a badge of honor, actually. Why else make music, among other annoying traits?
"For example, if a child is born to a couple who has predominantly aggression (Rajas) & ignorance (Tamas) respectively, then that particular offspring would develop those qualities which are combination of aggression & ignorance. It’s because usually it is the parents who teach the behaviour & morals to the children, parents mentality has a lot of influence on the child upbringing. Suppose if a child is raised by a father who is aggressive (rajas) and mother who is ignorant (Tamas) then that child probably will get accumulated to those gunas i.e aggressive at speaking & ignorat or lazy at actions and may become nuisance to the society. Such offspring is called as Mleccha but that need not be the case always, there are few offsprings who were born to such parents but progressed to the highest position due to their good conduct & karma."
So, it's not so much about being a bastard, than it as about being a mutt? Not all that bad. 50/50 You might also end up with the best of both worlds. There's worse odds to be had at that stage of your life.
