When the first 3 movies came out I was nonplussed. Then the hysteria started in the 90s with the sequels so now it's a case of me hating it because people keep bringing it up anytime and anywhere. They more they foam at the mouth for it the more I'm annoyed. And don't get me started on May the fourth...

I have always been a fan of Star Trek and the Gerry Anderson shows. And Space: 1999. Anything with flared pants in space gets my attention.
The themes were also superior to Star Wars IMO, with all due respect to John Williams.

Coffee is the one drink I could never develop a taste for, love the smell though

The Aeropress is fantastic for single-cups; I make a large batch of pourover in a chemex every morning and it's consistent and delicious.
The quality of your grinder, and having some way of ensuring consistency pot-to-pot (ie, minimise the variables) is probably the best way to figure out how to make good coffee at home.
I use slightly off-boil water, 30g coffee : 800g water, "28" setting on a barazza encore grinder. 30-40sec bloom, generally about 5min brew time.
 
Anyone source and roast their own beans? I'm rockin' a vienna roast today. a bit light for my preference but it tastes delicious.

Born 1990, I grew up on the original trilogy VHS tapes- they'll always be special to me because they're some of the only non-religious media that was allowed into my childhood household.

I understand it doesn't live up to the hype surrounding it, but STAR WARS kicks the shit out of "Veggie Tales" in my opinion.

These days I'm a fan of all things sci-fi (other than religion :ROFLMAO:)

Most of my favorite coffees have been from east Africa. My last order was a pound each from Burundi, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Colombia. Looking forward to the Tanzanian beans, pretty sure that's a new one for me. Had a lot from Rwanda and Kenya that were fantastic. East Africa is quickly creeping up my list of places to travel to. Fingers crossed the violence settles down out there.

...because rebuilding wonky Italian appliances every few years is such a good time. We've had this one for about twenty years by now and the second pump transplant made for a big improvement, I can finally do a fine enough grind for the scary locally roasted boutique beans that are so popular around here. Down to one or two single shot lattes a day, works for me.

That’s a super fun solo to play! Try learning the Peg solo. That first slidey double stop lick is insanely difficult.

Those double stops do look tricky! I will definitely try to attempt that first lick later today. Looks like it would be good double stop, bending, and sliding practice lick.

Also it's a Tim Pierce video! He's one of my favorite guitar youtubers.
