The wait is finally over, they've done it!

If there ever a project that comes of these, naugahyde is a decent project name.

My 3yo son walked up as as i was looking at this and said "I like weird owl."

Nauga is weird but the full size costume is mild nightmare fuel.

It has to be hotter than my pizza oven in there under 60s era stage lights. I have to say that it's telling that they took a fake leather material and thought the best way to get Americans to buy it was to convince you they peeled a creature to make it. "Don't worry everyone, we still killed something."

My favourite guitar straps used to be the dlx vintage style that Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker etc make. Then one day I went to a place that sells leather and bought a couple of 2" wide (or thereabouts) lengths and made the world's simplest straps out of them. I laid my existing straps alongside them, measured where the holes went and drilled a hole at each end to attach to a guitar. No buckles, no fuss. I took the strap buttons off, put them through the strap and screwed them back onto the guitar. No way the guitar is falling off the strap now. Really comfy too.

So, Robert will trace the entire Walrus leather line and we'll all get the ...
LACE-TRACE series ...

E-Gad I wish I had some photoshop skills... @music6000, some laced pedals, SVP?

Robert's gotta do it before Walrus, though, the lace thing.

Next thing you know there'll be crimson & clover Walrus pedals.

I could see a fuzz pedal wrapped in patent leather as a tribute to the Cramps. I mean if you're going to wrap a pedal in leather the only sensible use for it really is to pay tribute to the Cramps. Extra points for it sliding out of the leather as the show goes on. Maybe ending up in a patent leather G-string at the end.

I only got to see the Cramps twice but both shows were extremely memorable!
